About Us
Christina grew up in the country to become a part time pharmacist and stay at home mom! She loves to mix crafting, walking the dogs, cooking banana chocolate chip bread, and reading in between any free time.Travis grew up in a nearby town where he became an electrical engineer. In his spare time he works on restoring his corvette, collecting and reading comic books, wrestling with Ascher and playing Heman, hot wheels and board games!We met online at Match.com. As Christina always says it was love at first sight. After 5 years of traveling together to various fun places such as Mexico and Vancouver Winter Olympics we decided to marry and start a family. We were blessed to celebrate our wedding in Germany in a castle with our friends and family.We were blessed to adopt our son Ascher as a newborn. He is now a big strong 5 year old who is thrilled to become a big brother.He does swimming classes year round, soccer, baseball and just playing outside on our family farm. He loves monster trucks, exploring with the dogs, and feeding our friend’s chickens.We have 2 fur sweeties, Brownie (lab/boxer mix) and Pepper (mini dachshund) who also rule the roast around here.We love to spend weekends exploring the outdoors at our family farm and swimming in our pool in the summer! Enjoying family movie night with popcorn and snuggles. We travel everywhere and have even lived in England!

Our Home & Community
Our ranch style house with a vast spacious backyard is in Missouri. We love our neighborhood and everything about it. Our neighborhood is close and promotes a wonderful safe environment for children to grow up together and become great friends.During the summer months you can find us playing in our pool and lounging around our backyard which is a wonderful almost ½ acre of fenced in yard. A great place for kids to play games and during winter to build snowmen! We love our backyard and love to cook hot dogs and s’mores during the fall months in our fire pit.We spend a lot of time outside enjoying nature. Camping in the backyard, scavenger hunts in the summer, planting pumpkins and flowers, chasing squirrels with the dogs, and making imaginary adventures from movies we watch.We also spend our time at the family farm where Christina grew up. We ride on ATVs, tractors, walk on the trails through the woods, and fireside star gazing with snuggles.We are active in our church which has a school where Ascher goes. The community is close knit and very helpful. We help at the school with parent events and Christina helps Ascher’s class with recess and class parties. We help our neighbors who have children all below 10 years old. During the summer kids are always running between houses playing everywhere.

Our Thoughts about Parenting & Adoption
Adoption is such a big part of our lives with growing up in a family with adopted cousins from all over to having several friends who are adopted to even adopting our own son.We believe that what creates great parents is by supporting and encouraging them to achieve their dreams and ambitions in life. We will provide this support in everything they do whether their goals become sports dreams to academic dreams and beyond. Most of all we will provide love which is the glue that holds families together.Parenting for us is many nights of bedtime stories and star gazing adventures to Saturday walks in the park playing with the dogs. Memories of travels and family voyages around the world. We love to learn about many other cultures and religions. We are very strong in our Christian faith however we believe that every child should have the opportunity to discover what they believe and grow in that. Sundays are spent growing up in our church community and also spending afternoons and evenings with family and friends.

Closing Thoughts
Life is fraught with many wonderful and downhearted events that together help create a magnificent, meaningful life. To us one of the most significant achievements in life is raising a family. We want to help your child start his or her own chapter in our family. Your child will be showered with love and encouragement from such wonderful people in our lives. Your child will want for nothing and continue to grow surrounded by warmth and love. Life will definitely be an exciting adventure for your child and at the end of the day there will be plenty of snuggle time with all of us.Thank you in taking the time to learn about our life and dreams.
