About Us
We first met in 2014 over a cup of coffee. We both knew from the beginning that we had a special connection, and it was obvious that we wanted to see each other again. Fast-forward to the present day, and we are married! The six years in between have been filled with amazing adventures, milestones, and celebrations. Every single day of that time has been filled with love.About two and a half years after our first date, we made it official with a beautiful wedding ceremony surrounded by our friends and family. We know that everyone says it, but that was truly the happiest day of our lives (so far.)After a honeymoon and another year, we then decided to buy a home to share with our canine companion, Sheeta. Together, the three of us have created a warm and welcoming home. We all look forward to adding a child to our family.

Our Home & Community
We live in a single family home within a suburban village, about an hour outside of New York City. Our neighborhood has all the elements one would look for in finding a place to start a family: great people, shops and restaurants within walking distance, a nature preserve down the street, and several parks within a few minutes. We have turned our backyard into a place for friends and family to meet and spend quality time together, whether it be making dinner, or simply watching the birds and squirrels on the trees outside. In the Fall, our town kicks off Halloween by providing a “Safe Trick or Treat” night for children, and starting in late November, brings people together to celebrate the holiday season. During the warmer months, you will find people riding bikes, watching the town fireworks display, and attending drive-in summer concerts at one of the local parks. We are very fortunate and grateful to have found such a dynamic community with so much to offer, and look forward to continuing to make memories here.

Our Thoughts about Parenting & Adoption
Our approach to parenting will match our approach to life, which is that anything worth doing, is worth giving your all. We want to share our love with our future children, and teach them about the importance of family, acceptance, and kindness. We understand that parenting an adopted child will come with a unique set of blessings and challenges. We know that every child will have a distinct mindset, personality, and heart. We believe that listening to our child and encouraging open communication will foster integrity, compassion, and confidence as that child grow. We are hopeful to have an open adoption so that our child may know the love and supportive of both with biological and adoptive families. We both believe that we will be able to provide a loving, stable, and laughter-filled environment for our future children.
